Sandia Mountain Light Show

The Sandia (Watermelon) Mountains, east of Albuquerque, New Mexico, put on a fantastic light show each day , with the help of natures’ Sun, Clouds, and ever changing Sky.  The pink granet, purple jasper and smokey  quartz are just a few of the actors making up the Sandia cast of colorful and color reflecting characters.  And of  course, one must not leave out the evergreens, oaks, and aspens, which add their own unique and everchanging  wardrobes.
