Return to Spirit (Hopi)

When a physical body wears out, then the spirit which was housed in it is released to become that which it knows best.  Here, a Native American Cliff Dweller’s spirit is released and takes on the form of Puchkofmokaka, the  Throwing Stick Man or Scorpion Kachina, which is a Hunting spirit.
